- The Practical Pedal is a good looking new-ish online magazine, billing itself as the "journal of practical bicycling". So I guess that's all sorts of stuff on urban and utility cycling. Cool.

- The Safety is Sexy Campaign has made a call for submissions to
artists to create work based on the phrase 'You'd look hotter in a helmet.'
Sounds good, but do you reckon we can rise above pictures of attractive young women dressed only in their skid lids? [via UrbanVelo] - Would this work?
- Anti-theft stickers to make your nice new wheels look older and battered, so that theif won't give it a second look.

[Thanks Tom for both of these] - Bicygnals—front and rear lights with integrated turning indicators. Probably more visible than a hand signal in the dark.
- I still deny having an unhealthy fixation with mudguards, but here's something from the "obvious now that someone's thought of it" basket: inflatable fenders.
- Utility cycling
- I've just had a quick look at Steve Litt's Guide to Transportational Bicycling and it seems to cover the essentials of utility cycling. Should be a good read.
- Movember
- I forgot to mention earlier that Movember raised $13,422,716 in Australia alone. I'm happy to report that the Mo Bros of Treadly and Me raised a bit over $1000 of that. Thanks to everyone who chipped-in.
