Speedlinking 10 December 2007

Monday 10th Dec 2007 at 5:50 pm by Treadly and Me

Time hasn’t started running backwards since my last effort (at least, not noticeably), so it must be safe for me to speedlink…

Whose Boardwalk?
This one has me stumped for a while: whitewall tyres, chain guard, kick-stand, and mudguards and rack that look like they’re factory fitted. It even has woowoowoo’s favourite anti-theft device: the wicker handlebar basket. Anyway, not a bad little city runabout.
But what make is it? It’s branded “Boardwalk”—now it appears that Bianchi, Dahon, Malvern Star, and Raleigh all have (or have had) a model called “Boardwalk” but I don’t think this is any of those.
So whose “Boardwalk” is it? Well, the Torker 24″ Boardwalk looks closest, but it’s still not an exact match. Hmm…

I wouldn’t want you to think that I’ve got a fender fixation but here’s another DIY mudguard, this one by Kent Peterson.
