I've regularly seen people drive to their letterbox to get the mail because they were too lazy to walk. I've seen people drive from one supermarket car park to another two places away because it would shorten their walk. However, the worst I ever saw was two idiots in Sufferer's Parasite having a "stand off" over a particular vacant car park for long enough to create 16km of gridlock on a Sunday (I rode through it). Either of them could have relented and simply gone 20 metres down the road to a vacant spot.</p> <p>I am not making any of this up.</p> I’ve seen worse. Maybe she suddenly realised she'd forgotten something and was getting out to walk back and get it? It's not only the fat-issue that comes up here, but the pollution generated for such a short trip, the fuel and other resources used, the extra car on the road, I could probably think of more.
