Man bites dog…

I pass on this story from ABC Online with absolutely no further comment:

Horsham police say a man who was trying to elude them on a bicycle was stopped by a police car crossing his path.

The 34-year-old man was stopped in central Horsham on Saturday morning, but allegedly rode away.

Police say the man tried to weave through trees to escape, but crashed his bike into a police car when it blocked his path.

The man broke his collarbone in the accident and will be charged on summons with escaping custody and numerous traffic offences.

Police say they are investigating the incident.

And presumably they called him an ambulance…

[Oh bugger! I just had to go and say something, didn't I?]
