Oh, I inhaled a soda from laughing when I saw the picture. Screwing a fly swatter to the helmet -- brilliant!

I've got no real problem with swallowing bugs, but inhaling them is a different question. Or only getting them halfway down your gullet and them having to hack and cough to get them out again. And they make me sneeze when I get them in my nose.

It serves me right for being a smart alec though—after weeks of bug-free riding I plunged through three thick clouds of them on the ride home last night. They must have known…

ROTFL How cool. How appropriate for strine conditions, the fly swatter.

If you really have a problem with bugs up yer nose, a problem I haven't encountered.... yet... remember the safety glasses you were talking about from the hardware store? What about a clear face plate like the welding or brush cutting ones?

You could always just breathe through your mouth and swallow them. Lots of protein. Yum.

Re body art, isn't body paint technically art and therefore not subject to "nakedness" assumptions in "polite" (puritan) society? The music would have to be good, though.

Naked bike rides, bad music, and bombproof bikes

What about it? Would you ride naked on your bike with a bunch of others through a crowded city? Is it different if you do it painted, since you are not really naked? Kgirl really wants to be painted like
