I’ve recently noticed that the City of Melbourne uses a bloke on a bike to service parking meters at the northern end of the city (possibly all across the city, but I’ve only seen him north of Victoria St). But parking inspectors are still making their rounds on foot.

And then it struck me: is it possible to make drivers hate parking inspectors any more than they already do? Hmm… how about if the inspectors rode bikes?
