Fair warning

With Le Tour barely more than a month away, a mad-keen tourista has posted some guidelines for the benefit of his wife, starting with:

1. From 2 -24 July 2006, you should read the sports section of the newspaper so that you are aware of what is going on regarding Le tour de France, and that way you will be able to join in the conversations. If you fail to do this, then you will be looked at in a bad way, or you will be totally ignored. DO NOT complain about not receiving any attention.

… and so on, in that vein. I’m hardly as fanatical, but I think I see where he’s coming from.
